Terms and Conditions

To be eligible to participate in the Challenge, you must understand and adhere to the rules below:

  1. Registered on the Challenges platform on https://wti-sod.kaust.edu.sa with your real name.
  2. 18 Years old or more.
  3. Competition Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant from the Challenge if the Challenge Sponsor reasonably believes that the participant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Competition by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or abuses, threatens or harasses any other participants, Competition Sponsor or the hosting platform, or by providing false information related to your identity.
  4. You may make Submissions only under one unique WTI-SoD account. You will be disqualified if you make Submissions through more than one WTI-SoD account or attempt to falsify an account to act as your proxy. You may submit up to the maximum number of One Submission per specified Challenge on the Challenges Website.
  5. If permitted under the Challenge Website guidelines, multiple individuals may collaborate as a team (a "Team"); however, you may join or form only one Team per Challenge. Each Team member must be a single individual with a separate WTI-SoD account. You must register individually on the WTI-SoD platform before joining a Team. The Solution Owner is the only one who is eligible to invite other collaborators. You must confirm your Team membership to make it official by responding to the Team notification message sent to your WTI-SoD account. Team membership may not exceed the Maximum Team Size of 5 members, including the team lead.
  6. You agree that Challenge Sponsor(s) and their affiliates may use your name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
  7. You agree by creating an account on WTI-SoD, your full name used for registration and country will be visible to others searching for collaborators on the Challenge.
  8. The potential winner(s) will be notified by email and will have an obligation to deliver to the Competition sponsor their final solution as used to produce the Submission and associated documentation.

** Failing to comply with any of the above rules will result in disqualifying you from the Challenge.
